Weakness
Being a one-stop website it is understandable that the site has to provide enough information for the consumers. However, the site should organize its information in a neater and clearer manner as the wordings of the site are all squeezed together (due to spacial constraints?) thus make reading a chore for users.

With the overflooding of advertisements which occupied most of the page area, it makes it even more confusing and tough for consumers to read. Next, as there is too much information to convey to the public the website had to set up many clickable icons for users to click and view. As a result, this may be too complicated for certain users who are not so computer literate.

Improvements

For Ctrip, one of its main weakness is that the impression it gives to the consumers is that the words are too small and wordy. The cutting down of advertisements on the page itself can provide more spaces or more relevant pictures for it to pass more and easy to undestand information to the consumers.

Moreover, though the website guaranteed the consumers' security payment and privacy, it would allow consumers to put more confidence in the website if it provides certain certificates on the security for them to verify.
